How do I know whether my abdominal pain is recurrence or hernia?

I am so tired of worrying about whether the cancer will return.

SarahL, get this checked out, I have just had another hernia appear and its getting bigger! I'm having a scan on 28th for cancer recurrence, results on 11th April and an appointment with surgeon for hernia on 12th !! I can see my hernia lump, but no pain at the moment. Have a word with your specialist nurse or g.p. hope all is well. love Sue x

Hi Sarah,

This is a problem we all face unfortunately. You don't say how far along the journey you are at the moment, but the only way to be sure is the CA125 as far as I'm concerned. It has always been right for me, and though the onc doesn't want to see me for 3 months I've got my gp to book a blood test

if I feel the need midway. I must admit I think I'm going to get it done next week,as I'm going away and I want to check whether everything is Ok before I go. I've been having tummy pains for the last few days so.........

If it worries you get it checked out.......
