Hello everyone. I’m currently NED from Stage 4 Ovarian cancer. My CA125 has always been 16-18 but it has now risen to 24. I know it’s still in the normal range but I’m now really worried. This disease drives me mad!

I know what you mean about being driven mad! Don’t forget that it’s the trajectory they look at…so my ca125 gradually went up over the period I was on Olaparib, not by much and mostly under 35 but the rises (and no falls) did not lie, it was on the way back.
However any infection or inflammation can drive it up a few points for a while and if it falls or is generally static, that’s good xx
can you ask for a Ct scan?
any inflammation can effect the CA125. If it keeps rising, insist on a scan. 🙏
