following raised cancer warning in blood tests and symptoms since February ( I don’t know all the terminology yet) I have my first gyne appointment today. I’m unwell, continuous spotting and rhs low back pain and so tired. I don’t know what to except but fear the worst. I’m aware everyone here will have been through this at the beginning and have read many amazing posts here and find this site very informative so thanks to you all.

Hi Stills hope your appointment went well and you got some of the answers you were looking for. It is a worrying time not knowing what the problem is or how it is to be treated and there will be lots of tears as your mind goes into overdrive (there certainly was for me). Rest assured that the NHS will come up trumps and give you the best possible treatment. Stay strong and take one day at a time and know that your friends and family will always want to help, as we do in this forum xx

hello, some thinning of the womb and calcification which is all normal for post menopausal 61 female. Dr even said I could stay on HRT. So this is good news however I’m still unwell and next up ( pun is intended) is colonoscopy and biopsy on 16th. Dr at gyne appointment interestingly told me that raised Ca125 levels in blood tests can be caused by other infections and as symptoms started in February when they were testing for lots of things he suspects that’s the case. Any questions please ask, I am wishing you good days.
