Have been diagnosed with 3c stage low grade ovarian cancer back in 2016, after debunking and several rounds of chemotherapy remission for 7 years, now the big C is back again, I have been offered the new drug Trametinib which I need to start soon, reading on the all side effects gives me a real scare 😱 😨 any advice?? Has eny one had it lately? There is not much information about it so I feel like a guinea pig ,perhaps chemotherapy is better, at least I know what it's like and how to cope with it! And for how long would you need to have it, I hope not for the rest of my life! Good bless you all xxx

Sorry to hear about your recurrence. Cannot help with drug but looks like someone asked some questions here (related posts) about 4 years ago. xx
I’m afraid I’ve not heard of that drug either. But maybe you could try it? And see how to get in with it? You could always change the dose if it’s too string.
I really struggled on a Parp for the first year until the dose was lowered and then lowered again.
Good luck.
