Hi everyone

This post is to let you know that Ovacome are hosting a free support and information day in Newcastle for anyone who has been affected by ovarian cancer. The day will provide an opportunity to meet others in person and hear from experts about looking after your health and wellbeing, both during and after treatment.

Join us on Wednesday 16 August. This will be a full day event with a programme of talks and workshops. You are welcome to join us for as much of the day as you like. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

The day will include:

- 'Ask the expert' session with a local clinical nurse specialist. Bring any questions you have about any aspect of living with an ovarian cancer diagnosis.

- Art therapy taster session.

- Local charity talks - hear about support near to you.

- Tea & chat - plenty of opportunity to meet others living with a diagnosis, to share experiences and advice.

The Ovacome support and information team will be available all day to answer any questions you have about treatments, side effects, trials and more.
