saw surgeon again he said he forgot to tell me that he didn’t take my appendix!! Thanks is that a good or bad thing ?? Xx

Hi Surgeon didnt take mine either. Told me they only remove if it looks dodgy! He said removing the appendix turns a clean surgery to a risky dirty surgery 🤷‍♀️

Before my op I was told they would only remove my appendix if it was diseased as it creates an infection risk they prefer to avoid. Mine was affected by the cancer so they did remove itSounds as though all went well for you so don't worry.

A good thing I’d say as I was told they’d only take anything which looked dodgy x

They didn’t take mine, I’m not sure if it’s a factor or not. I must admit, I haven’t really thought about it.
