SEER vs FIGO

Does anyone know if stage 3c OC is considered regional or distant?Thanks for your help.

As I understand it, distant means the ovarian cancer has metastasized to organs such as the liver or the lungs, which is where mine has spread to. Also, I ran various searches on SEER in 2020 after I was diagnosed with OC. At that time, the data had not been updated since 2014. I do not know if it has been updated recently. SEER is an interesting tool, but limited by the age of the information that you are searching.

if you want to look at the detail on Macmillan you could try this link

macmillan.org.uk/cancer-inf.... I believe that FIGO is still the accepted tool for categorising OC
