accupuncture for nausea/fatigue

My Carbo-Gem treatments are leaving me nauseous and exhausted, no energy. Has anyone tried accupuncture to counteract these debilitating symptoms? Thanks.

I heard it was good for that but I always felt too ill to go. Would have liked to have tried it.

Yes, I have, it worked amazingly quickly for me!

I had had so little energy and motivation I was sitting watching rubbish TV for most of the day thinking I should do something but never managing to, even get dressed, some days.

I was offered acupuncture with My cancer/My choices as I live in Berkshire, but I will pay for it privately when my six free sessions end.

I initially went for help with my taste alteration problem. The practitioner did what they do and at the end she said “I won’t leave these four needles in I’ll just pop them in and out to give you a bit of energy for your infusion next week.” That evening I started to feel like I had before I was diagnosed. Normal energy levels! This has continued for the last 6 weeks. I don’t know how it works, but it did for me! Do give it a try. Good luck. Gill X

I had not known this was an option. Is it a painful process? And how long is a session?

not painful. After consultation, I’m told sessions are 30 mins. I’m going to try it. Keep in touch.
