Good morning all
We’ve been contacted by a Cancer Research Fellow and Senior Critical Care Pharmacist at UCL Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, who has asked us to share an opportunity with you. This opportunity is to contribute to a piece of research which is seeking to understand the reasons for delays in first-line treatments for breast or ovarian cancer and how these could be reduced in future.
The researchers are looking to hear from people who are keen to share their first-hand experience of delays in first line chemotherapy for breast or ovarian cancer. This may include giving a patient perspective in meetings, supporting study progress, offering an opinion on research results and providing input in publicising findings.
To learn more or to get involved, please contact Pinkie Chambers, Applied Health research lead at UCLH via P.chambers@ucl.ac.uk .
If anyone would like to talk through anything with a member of the Ovacome support team, we are here for you. You can send us a message directly through this forum, email us via support@ovacome.org.uk or call our friendly support line on 0800 008 7054, Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm.
