Hernia and lymphnodes swelling

Hi ladies

I am really worried about hernia too. I have some pain and lump by my navel which I mentioned to my Oncologist and at the time around 5 months ago, she said its just scar tissue and nothing to worry about. I was very careful after my surgery, not to overdo things ie lifting etc....recently I've noticed that the lump was getting bigger and sometimes it was hard and painful, I had a CT scan because I was also worried I had swelling in my lymph nodes in my neck...so the scan result came back last week and it is showing lymph nodes are slightly swollen and there is a hernia near my navel where the surgery was. I am really worried now that they will have to cut me up again, I had 50 staples when I had my surgery in Dec 2020......the oncologist is referring me to a hernia consultant but said its nothing to worry about and will do another scan in 3 months to check lymph nodes. She also mentioned there is a very tiny nodule on my lung, which is not worrying but will keep an eye. I have been on 600mg Olaparib since March 2021... My bloods are normal CA125 is 11.

I am now anxious about all this. Has anyone else had this issue and gone through surgery to repair the hernia?

Hi Dubai18I’m 6 weeks out of ventral hernia repair after my hysterectomy my incision got infected that coupled with starting chemo it never healed right so I got an incisional hernia I opted to have it repaired the first Surgeon wanted to do it open repair like yourself it would be reopening a 7” scar, 4 night hospital stay I got a second opinion was able to have it done robotically outpatient with absorbable mesh I had pain the first week the worst part was being sick to my stomach the first night from the anesthesia I’m not in your exact situation I was trying to put surgery off but mine started growing hoping this helps
