Hello, you have hit on the real difficulty for patients and clinicians about recurrence. Often the signs and symptoms are a lot less clear than first diagnosis. It was only after I recurred that I was able to think back and spot very small signs: slight breathlessness (I was still hiking up hills) a bit of a cough (I had a cold).

Your Mum should report anything that doesn’t seem normal…. particularly bowel function and breathlessness but just remember that it took over 2 years for me to become symptomatic and while she feels well she should enjoy life xx

but ca goes up so fast in 5 weeks for 34.5-110.5 :( and from last chemo in 2 month from 22.5-34.5, there is some problems with bloating but she has it all the time also during 4 years remission... and many years before first diagnose that why we dont understand what to think.

Same for me it crept quietly up. Went to drs with bowel change and was told my age which I was very doubtful about, then like you a bit out of puff and a cough. Put it down to allergy as it was spring lots of pollen around. But it manifested in a pleural infusion. I did look at my tummy one day which was bloated and it crossed my mind but after 18 clear years I dismissed it tho it did niggle away. So report anything however small. X
