Benylin?

Does anyone know if you can take benylin when you've had chemo (paclitaxel/carboplatin) Friday just gone. This cough is driving me mad!

I don't know the answer to that. You're very good to consider it...I think I would have just blindly taken it without even thinking .You could try phoning your CNS or the hospital pharmacy for clarification.

And just a thought...do you have a temperature at all ? You might want to keep an eye out for that and let your team know if you do.

Hope the cough settles very soon..it can be exhausting.

Hi jacky.. Thanks for your messageI know i was very naughty and didnt check it. It's been off and on for a couple of days since chemo, but last nights waa the worst! I'll check with them. Hope you are well x

I don't the answer either but Bronchostop is another good cough medicine and is based on Thyme. I think if you go into a chemist and speak to the pharmacist they will help you.
