I was trials after having oc stage 4b. Had full hysterectomy plus peritoneum and omentum removed trial was ICON 8B. With this you are on avastin for 15 months which gave me extreem joint pain

hi I trialled Avastin back in 2007/8 whereI had Avastin for12 months. I too had the joint pain but after completing the trial the pain subsided although it took about 4 months. I hope you are ok xx

Pain did subside but then two lymph nodes became cancerous from original diagnosis of ovarian first lot of anti eostrogen did not agree waiting on 2nd trial of anti eostrogen which works in different way. Fingers crossed that

They put me on anastrazole and about two weeks in I took really adverse effects sweats up Andover forty a day plus no appetite and crying non stop anastrazole stops the production of eostrogen but they are going to put me on tamoxifen which redirects the eostrogen it one of time he older drugs hope it works for me anyone else out there on it

I've had joint pain w avastin too but it has reduced dramatically over the past 18 months. Will be on it 8 more. It gets better, don't worry.
