Dear all,

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) are reviewing niraparib for platinum-sensitive recurrent ovarian cancer, after second response to chemotherapy.

As part of the process we have made a submission which included your direct quotes about your experiences. We can also nominate someone to be an expert patient to present their experience to the NICE committee.

The committee meeting for this topic is scheduled for Tuesday 3 August 2021 and will take place via Zoom. If you would be interested in being the expert patient, we'd really like to hear from you.

Please note the meeting will be a frank discussion about the clinical and cost effectiveness of niraparib, which could be upsetting. We will be available to support you and we will discuss the meeting with you afterwards.

If you have been treated with niraparib and would be interested in speaking about your experience at the meeting, please contact me at I.Stone@ovacome.org.uk.

Best wishes,

Imogen

Policy & Health Inequalities Officer
