Just had ct scan and one lymph node is slightly swollen. They called it indeterminate. What do swollen lymph nodes mean please?

In general lymph nodes can be swollen for all sorts of reasons,like infection. I had swollen lymph nodes after the covid jabs. Try not to worry as I am sure they would say if they were worried.
Hi Bluetilly. I’m not sure what your status is? Have you been in remission from OC? Lymph nodes are part of the immune system that play a role in clearing waste from your cells. They become enlarged during infections. They also become enlarged from cancer spreading. I had a 3 cm one in my pelvis after frontline and was panicked. A PET scan showed it wasn’t cancer and it has gradually shrunk over two years. I suggest you ask for a PET scan to see if it’s malignant or not. Xx
