I'm so sorry to hear that Zena has gained her teal wings.

I'm sorry I posted my good news at an inappropriate moment, meaning the two Zena J posts were one above the other. If I had know I'd have waited but as you are probably aware there are two Zena J's.

I send my deepest sympathy to her family and friends. Love, Zena J xxx

Not to worry Zena, as it wasn't until I saw your post I was sure which Zena. It's a relatively unusual name and strange to have had two Zena's on this forum.

We are both sad for Zena and her family and happy for you too.

Please don't feel bad Zena, you weren't to know. Everyone likes to hear the good news too. xx We are sad for Zena as we would be for any of our ladies here but also like to hear stories that give hope xx

I agree with the other ladies. You weren’t to know and whilst we’re all sad for the other Zena, we also love hearing good news xx

It is very good to read good news at a sad time. No way anyone could know someone else is posting at the same time.

Hi Zena, please don’t feel bad about that. We are all sad for Zena and her loved ones and it’s always hard to hear this news. But I’m happy to hear of your good health and great remission that really does gives us all hope.

Big hugs to you

We all need to hear the good news too. Always sad to hear when someone has lost the fight but we know that their suffering is over. There is still much to be grateful for and to continue this battle where we can. X

If we hesitate to post good news in case it clashes with bad news then we might never share it.

When I read people’s posts I think about those people after I go offline too. The person who’s had bad news, the family who has lost a loved one and the person who’s sharing news of remission or stability, etc.

Sharing good news as well as bad makes this forum feel like a place I want to come to for support.

I’m in another online support group for a different condition for a family member. People never share good news, only ask about problems. It means I limit my time there for my own mental health, but so do other people. It makes it a much less vibrant group.

Whilst I understand your hesitation we can’t control how the posts come up on screen or what other things people are posting around the same time.

I do agree with you. I posted my second post a bit too quickly. I don't see my name often and it's always weird when I do and to see RIP next to it made me feel weird. I've been in messaging with the other Zena and she was doing so well.

I've seen a few ladies I've been in contact with leave us but I'm happy to say there's an awful lot that make it. I think a lot that do well leave the forum but I'm sure they're still out there.

Thanks for your reply. Zena xx

Oh gosh. Yes that would feel weird.

Xxxxx

We need good news to counteract the bad so there is absolutely no need to apologise.
