Hi Ladies, I haven't written much on this site but visit frequently and follow each and every one of you as you live with this dreaded disease. You have strength and clarity that I've not yet found and you have inspired me much these past few years.
I've been blessed to have been in remission for more than a year. With my CA125 levels rising consistently all of last year, and with several interim scans, I felt I was headed toward a recurrence, but scans did not turn up any cancer so I was uncertain. The results of my latest scan just came in and now I'm certain - my cancer has returned.
I have choices to make now about how to move forward and have been reading your posts about your experiences. Thank you for sharing so openly. I've also been speaking with my friend (Almalyffe) and a former member of this group. She faced a similar situation just recently and after our chat, posted a wonderful little ditty on her blog mycancerconfessions.com about the choices we all must make.
It was just so insightful I wanted to offer it to those who may be facing a similar choice in how to move forward or those who feel they soon may be. I hope you enjoy it.
And I hope to write more here as I go through my journey so that perhaps I can be of help to others as you have been to me.
Many Thanks and Best Wishes to all.
Sue
