Dear all,

Thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund (on behalf of HM Government’s Coronavirus Community Support Fund) and funding from Zurich Community Trust, we are producing some short films to raise awareness of ovarian cancer in six community languages.

Ideally, we want to feature people telling their personal stories about their experiences of ovarian cancer in their community language: Polish, Arabic, Panjabi, Urdu, Gujarati & Bengali, with subtitles in English. We think this will be more powerful and have a bigger impact than if we use actors.

If you speak any of these languages fluently and would be happy to be filmed telling your story about how you have been affected by ovarian cancer (either having been diagnosed yourself, or having a relative/close friend affected) please contact me, Laura, on 07586 899334 or e-mail l.nott@ovacome.org.uk. Please feel free to share this message widely across your networks so that we can reach as many people as possible.

Best wishes,

Laura Nott
