Dear All
Some of you may be aware of, or have taken part as catwalk models, in the Touch of Teal events that have been run by the wonderful Touch of Teal team to raise funds for Ovacome for the past 10 years. This year the event will be virtual for the first time ever, and we'd love for you to join us.
It will take place on Saturday 3 October from 3 – 4.30pm BST.

This is a fabulous international occasion, so do join us, whether it is for breakfast in the Americas, tea time in Europe or dinner in Asia. By taking part you will be supporting those affected by ovarian cancer.
Famous British actor Jenny Agutter OBE, Ovacome Patron and the star of the BBC’s Call the Midwife will be giving a personal message, the Gala will feature performances by Alan Cooper, singer-songwriter Lizzie Berchie, 2019 winner of Open Mic UK Natalie Lindi and Yanse Cooper.
The 11 Touch of Teal models, all women living with ovarian cancer, will be on the catwalk displaying fabulous fashion to inspire and entertain you. You will also hear their powerful stories, learn vital information about women’s health and about how you can support Ovacome.
Games, competitions and prizes will keep you smiling and there will be some surprise guest appearances.
Tickets are £10 per device used – so you and your friends and family can gather in front of one screen for a great value occasion.
In the past 10 years Touch of Teal has raised over £160,000 and this money has enabled us to support thousands of people diagnosed with ovarian cancer, their families and friends.
So, wherever you are in the world, come together with us for the first ever Touch of Teal International Virtual Gala, sit back and enjoy and support our vital work.
All the money raised will go towards our Surviving Teaching Students online programme. The interactive sessions will enable medical students and clinicians to ask questions and build on their understanding of the different ways ovarian cancer can present. Our webinars will provide informative insights in to ovarian cancer and important aspects of the disease. This programme is vital to ensuring ovarian cancer is considered when women present the signs and symptoms to a medical professional.
