Dear All

We have been asked to put out a request from BBC Northern Ireland who are hoping to interview someone as part of a piece about the impact coronavirus has had on cancer services in Northern Ireland.

They are looking to hear the experiences of people and how they’ve coped. They are particularly keen to speak to someone from Northern Ireland who has had treatment postponed/cancelled as a result of the pandemic.

It would be a face to face (socially distanced) interview with BBC health correspondent Marie Louise Connolly and would be recorded for TV.

It would not be live but recorded and used as part of a report on cancer waiting times.

The interview would take about 15 to 20 minutes but you should allow 30 minutes to an hour for the crew to have time to set up.

If you would be interested in being interviewed please email Lesley-Anne McKeown at Lesley-Anne.McKeown@bbc.co.uk or telephone 07843021105.

Best wishes

Anna
