I am thinking about volunteering for the NHS but a few people have said I shouldn’t do it because I have had ovarian cancer but that was 10 years ago. Anyone know if I would be classed as vulnerable even now?

I think its only if you are on a treatment chemo/parp inhibitor that lowers your immune, but it would be best to check with the professionals. Could you possibly ring the hospital helpline that you were treated at originally or Mcmillan. Good luck - the NHS need all the help they can get. x

Thank you Lyn1987
I read somewhere that if you have ever had chemo it increases your risk with C19 so do check but good on you for volunteering xx
