Just thought I’d pop in to say hi. As I think I’ve said before I’ve taken a bit of a step back so don’t log in very regularly. Part of my effort to get through at least one day without worrying about ‘the beast’.
I’m torn as I like to return the favour of all the support and advice I’ve had from you guys but need to not dwell whilst I have the opportunity. Luckily the recent mammogram and MRI for breast c were clear. Thank goodness! 🎉 (I’m BRCA 1). I had a fabulous deep sleep in the MRI machine as well to the astonishment of the operators 😂
So sad to hear about Yoshbosh. I’d been thinking about her - just heartbreaking. However it’s lovely to see so many of you Carpe Dieming too!
I’m doing ok (writes she with fingers crossed). I still get stupidly tired and don’t sleep well but have only minor niggles like my lymphodema to whinge about at the moment so am very lucky.
I am hoping to squeeze in another mini adventure for my 50th in February- a couple of days in Marrakesh. So exciting! A bit of excitement before my return to the Onc at the end of Feb 😬
Anyway love to you all, you fabulous ladies and make sure you keep your fighting knickers on!

Lovely to hear from you Em as always. Glad you are getting on and having adventures... for those of us blessed with the opportunity to carry on with normal life, I almost feel that I need to make the most of it as a tribute to those who weren’t so lucky. So go and do your thing in Marrakesh!! Have fun xx
So lovely to hear from you and that you’re doing ok, many congratulations on the clear scan, I don’t know how you managed to sleep through the MRI, I found it horrendous but, like they say, different strokes for different folks 😊.
Have a fabulous holiday, hope the onc appointment goes really well and have a really good Christmas lovely lady ❤️🎄xx Jane
Nice to hear from you again, Em. Sorry you have the added worry of Lymphoedema. I do, too. Have one leg much bigger than the other one. 😒 I do hope you have your adventure in February. Something to look forward to.
I hadn't heard about Yoshbosh, so I'm pleased you mentioned her.. So sad.
On a more cheerful night - Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Love, Solange 😊🎄🥂
lovely to hear from long term survivors of grade 3, gives us all a little hope which is always welcome. Hoping you continue to be symptom/treatment free. Have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year xx
