Good morning. I have just had my six monthly check up, and my CA125 has increased from 9 to 13. Not a lot, I know, but I recently had a kidney scan, due to the fact that white cells are permanently present in my urine, and I suffer from sudden spells of incontinence which are only cured by antibiotics. ( I experience no pain or stinging, just loss of control)
The oncologist checked my notes and said that the scan showed kidney stones and a cyst on the kidney. When I asked if this could be cancerous, he said that it wasn't his area of expertise, and I would have to discuss this with the urologist when I see him next month.
What do you think? Has anyone had experience of OC spreading to the kidneys?

Don’t forget that if you have some inflammation going on due to your kidney problems then that can cause your ca125 to increase without any help from cancer. Clearly, none of us are doctors so the only definitive answer has to come from your team, if you can, try not to worry... although cancer is always our first panic, we can still get other things wrong with us xx
Here is what I know about increases in CA 125. They can be increased because of infection or injuries. I was told when I was going through treatment that you can have an increase in CA125 and it just sometimes happens. If they are concerned they will do a CT to see if there is any reason for it. God bless you and Merry Christmas. Keep in touch if you need support. I was there in 2016 and am doing very well now.
