Ive been to the doctor

Ok so the doctors surgery didn’t call back yesterday and I was miffed but the receptionist was mortified and apologised profusely saying it was all her fault. She was new and forgot to ask my DOB so couldn’t track me down. Of course I’ve forgiven her. We all make mistakes.

I’ve seen my GP who says the lumpy bits are haematoma, but my wound is looking a bit pink so I have antibiotics. She was good to talk to as well because I was having a wobbly moment.

Im seeing my grandchildren soon so wondering if I should make a cage to go around my body. It will be so hard not being able to pick them up.

Good result...despite the delay. We often think that niggles or worries are not worth asking about but while you are going through this you need extra support. I am glad you asked xx

Hi JustKBO, Glad you got your problem sorted out and were able to be reassured re haemotomas. Perhaps the grandchildren can sit ona sofe beside you when you will be able to cuddle them. All the best. Gwen Xx
