This is at last something we can look forward to. The results of the LOGS trial is now being reported on. Around about 8th October we should see a written summary of this but for now ESMO 2019 has revealed what we were waiting for .... scotsman.com/health/edinbur...

What brilliant news! I am feeling a bit more hopeful and I know my oncologist will be interested too. I’ve shared it and look forward to seeing him in December and seeing if the NHS can prescribe it.

Thank you for sharing!

Love

Ovacome have been amazing .. I emailed them this morning and they have made contact with Novartis the pharma company that supplies Trametanib. I will do all I can to ensure this is accepted by NICE Gwen xxx

Hi Levanah, Thanks so much - a good job done! Do you know what Ovacome are planning to say to Novartis. Perhaps sell if cheaper than the 9,000. per month that a low grader has just told me. I am off to London tomorrow for admission to Queen Charlotte's for more surgery. Hey Ho here we go (again). Gwen Xx

Oh Gwen, good luck with your surgery dearest Teal Sister. Let us know how you get on when you can but I shall keep you in my thoughts.

Ovacome will be discussing how to make the drug available to low Grade ladies I should imagine. That amount of money is so much !!! I had no idea about that cost . There are compassionate grounds in which to apply too so that shouldn’t be ruled out whilst the drug is being introduced to NICE.

Sending you love
