Outstanding presentation and passion from Dr Banerjee there. She even spoke a little bit about low grade OC :) . Thank you for sharing the link, Lyn. And a silent salute to prof Gore, who passed too early. xx. Maus

Thanks for sharing this. My Mum went to this Ovacome day with my sister and said it was excellent,

Mum was under Prof. Gore and Dr. Banerjee for years (2011-2017) on letrozole until her low grade progressed. Dr. Banerjee was quite passionate about mum starting a trial. At that time we were confused as we were always under the impression trials were only for when all other treatments had been exhausted. It was good to hear her clarify that this is a much earlier option now - and I’m so pleased mum joined a trial as her tumours have shrunk by 57% since Jan last year. Also amazing to hear how many more options there are for ladies with this dreadful disease and how treatments have changed so significantly over such a short period. Xx

Thank you for posting this! I just listened to it. I’m possibly having my first recurrence— CT scan showed something where I have some pain in my pelvis. I’m waiting for official radiology report but will be having an mri or pet scan for further clarification. My Ca 125 is holding steady at 5 but it was 8 at diagnosis.

Anyway the lecture came at a helpful time and was a great overview!
