Ovarian cyst

I got my ultrasound results back today this is what it says uterus is antereverted,

Trilaminar endometium appears homogeneous an regular measuring 0.8cm,

2cm unilocular anechoic cystic region with in the left ovary

Anyone know what that means??

I'm 43 I haven't had a period since July 2018 and and have a lot of pain on my left side xx

Thank uourfickunf for your replie Kathy yeh I have an appointment on the 29th with the gynae and Yeh I have googled but just thought maybe someone else has the same and could sort of explain what it means

The uterus is usually anteverted, it just means it is tilted slightly forward. But I can't help with the other things. Hope you can get the answers you want. Di

The endometrium being homogenous just means its smooth, spread evenly and of uniform thickness, in other words, its the same everywhere its located - 'unilocular' means a cyst contained within a small sac, not sure what anechoic means, you need to wait for the full explanation. As the cyst region is on the left, ask them if that's what's causing your pain...
