After radiation treatment my sister can't breath why is that

After the radiation treatment my sister can't breath. And the took out water from her liver she has breast cancer

You need to post to the Breast Cancer Forum.

I also advise you to call your sister’s nurse or the Chemo /radiation Department where your sister is being seen, and tell them of your concerns.

If needed, call an ambulance.

I had this problem after chemo and have now been told I have pneumonitis. I think this can be caused by radiation as well. It is inflammation in the lungs. I had a CT scan at the time and it didn’t show up but it has now. The breathing problem got better on its own, recurred a couple of times and went away. Came back more mildly when I started a clinical trial.
