mum’s coming home tomorrow !!! Infection has cleared.. weight is coming back on, getting her stronger for chemo no 3!... bossing the family about to get everything ready... Thank you for support ... She dosent even look ill here or that she has this awful cancer! 💜💜💜💜💜💜

Ah that's good to hear that your mum's been well looked after Claire! We are ok thanks, mum's got pre assessment Fri then first chemo next Wed. I'll be keeping everything crossed for your mum keeping strong for her next chemo xx big hugs to you and your mum! Xx

It's lovely to see a photo of your mum. I bet you are proud of her. My mum is really positive and strong too and I think it really helps. I’m so pleased she is coming home! Make sure she keeps her feet up - she can boss you all around from the sofa 😁 Mind you, gentle exercise will help rebuild her strength, so don’t let her sit on her bum for too long 😉

She might be a bit wobbly on the stairs to begin with, so maybe suggest she has what she needs from upstairs/downstairs so that she doesn’t have to climb them too often. It took me a good couple of weeks to feel capable of tackling the stairs more than once/twice a day when I came home from hospital.

Most of all, enjoy having her home!

Super news Claire ! My daughters were also worried sick after what looked like initially a catastrophe but 26 weeks on I’m going like a steam train ( sort of !) and manage the Taxol day by day although can’t believe it sometimes ! Love and best wishes to your mum from my girls and me
