“Area of mixed density” in upper left vaginal vault.

1.6cm/ over 1/2 inch.

Radiologist hoping it’s a haematoma/Post-operative scarring

Has any OC lady ever had this finding please?

So sorry that this finding is causing you such stress. Weren’t you going to have a CT scan in early December?

In the meantime, I would advise you to make an appointment with your GP, just to chat about this. Perhaps you can ask your GP to order a simple CA-125 blood test that will show the Ovarian Cancer Market.

Alternatively, you could call you GYN’s secretary and beg for an urgent appointment to discuss the same issues and request the blood test.

Do you have any symptoms that would make you feel suspicious?

If you don’t, my next suggestion is to put this out of your mind and try to enjoy the holiday season.

Not much will happen during the next few weeks that can’t be dealt with in January.

Dec. ct scan reported area of mixed density to be same size. Radiologist hoping it’s haematoma or post-operative scarring.

In a very inaccessible area for surgery.

Gynae. Will order ct scan end of February to report findings to me mid March.

I’m just praying that it’s not a recurrence.

Heartened that it has not got bigger.

Had ca125 in mid-November 9.9 thank God.

I’m grateful it’s only this.
