To be honest I’m wondering how everyone is in general? Especially those who haven’t been on in a while xxx

I agree. I answer some posts but I haven't got much to say about myself that everyone hasn't already heard. Perhaps we should post 'I'm okay' or something similar every now and again. I also think some survivors leave the site altogether for various reasons.

Best wishes, Zena xx

I wanted to ask about Suzanne too---if anyone is in touch with her, could you let us know how she is doing? Suzanne--if you read this, a short note---just want to see how things are going for you. oxoxox

Same thoughts and feelings about thinking often of how others are coping esp Suzanne and Kryssy. Let's hope they are managing things as best they can.

Yes, sending positive wishes to Suzanne and Kryssy (and everyone, of course!), and I was also thinking about Angie-69.

Hope everyone is keeping as well as they possibly can.

Wishing everyone well ( seems daft to say that but you know what I mean ) - thinking of us all no matter where we are with this b^stard disease x

I think that it is a good idea to update now and again even if we have little to post. I had that tough radiotherapy in the summer for recurrence on hip muscle. I still have pain in my thigh thinking cellulitis or lympodema. My gp said it isn't a dvt. My thigh swells up and pain on inner side. I am actually beginning to wonder since my last scan was stable, well I shouldn't have pain or am I thinking upside down. I have review with my oncologist in a few weeks and will chat to him then and see if he feels ultra sound or mri would give any answers. I know my sciatic nerve is caught up in the tumour and since it was on my hip muscle, it is logical to have some pain. Glad everyone is well, maybe one of you could message Suzanne

Oh my dear , how awful a time again....bits of body swelling , pain for no known reason are so difficult to deal with .We often do the thinking ourselves , it seems to me , and often give our doctors the ideas ! You are indeed logical and so stoical too .

My very best wishes x

I’m not surprised you have pain. RT takes its toll and our bodies have to shake down and readjust. I’ve been in pain since January despite the tweaked meds. Think it’s time to review them again. It’s 4am and I’ve just taken the last meds I can squeeze in

Be kind to yourself. A scan may give answers, mine didn’t, but even if yours gives no clues you must treat the pain. It’s about comfort more than anything else

Hi , you all . I think i stop posting because I dont want to terrify you all !

Over seven years in , I am beginning to feel that I am indeed , an Invalid .

Housebound with bags everywhere , exhausted by being so uncomfortable and back into hospital on thursday for op to remove / replace ureter stents . " They " will also have a look at my kidney drains and bladder to check out how it's all going . I say " they " because I dont know the team, Urology , but will see oncology Prof next week .A life full of incident .It is indeed worrying that we have not heard from Suzanne nor Krissy ....and all best thoughts with them . and indeed all those suffering xx

I haven’t heard from Suzanne for nearly two weeks but Kryssy has posted. I’ve sent a couple of messages this week and she has replied. Just having a tough time bless her. Wish I was well enough to go to see her. OC is so damning and depressing we all need a lift sometimes.
