Hi just came from my dr. Kind of bad news. Tumors are growing again. This is going to be my third time with cancer. Chemo twice then I started with zeluja and didn’t work. Going now for a trial chemo. Hopefully it works. Hopefully I will be a candidate for the trial. I will know next week.

Hi there. I'm with the other ladies...

Shame that the parp inhibitor did not work & sorry you are back on chemo. Quite frightening when tumours are growing, isn't it? But here is hoping that the new chemo (which trial, do you know?) will manage to reduce the tumours. Fingers crossed for you. Maus

That is interesting as I am also platinum resistant. I am on a phase one trial at UCLH Research Facility and I think they run a trial similar to yours.

I read (on audio) the book "Love Medicine and Miracles" by a surgical oncologist Bernie Siegel MD when I was first diagnosed with OC. I became an exceptional patient and in that took back control over my life and alleviated the worst emotion for me, anxiety. I read it in a day and a half, (downloaded it and listened to it on tape, Dr. Siegel does the narration.

I saw a psychiatrist who specialized in Cognitive Behavioral therapy where you learn how you think does effect the way you feel. It worked for me as well.

I hope that it does the same for others. I have the good fortune of being in both breast and ovarian ca groups! LOL. Warmly, Me
