Hi everyone I did a bilateral oophorectomy in February and I have been bleeding since Friday. I went to my doctor today and she said it’s a period.

My question to her was I have no ovaries how can I have a period. She said it’s normal!

Has anyone ever had this experience?

I do not think this is normal as you do not have the capacity to produce the hormones.

You should check with the team that removed them.

Take care and I do hope you get sorted 🌻🌻🌻

In what world could you possibly be having a period since February? Your doctor has this wrong in my unprofessional opinion, you’re bleeding for some reason and you need to find out why.

I think you need to seek another opinion from a different doctor to get to the root of the problem, please let us know how you go with this. ❤️Xx Jane

Thank you she said it is Metrorrhagia ,

I am scared now I have a toddler and worried that it is worse than she is saying.

I am not afraid of death but for my toddler to be alone!
