Just wait till the serious dog lovers wake up! It,s a great photo and idea.
Oh, isnt he so adorable? He’s smiling. How long did he spend with you?
About 10 mins and then he went round to see everyone else. Are you still going up there? I have got out of sinc but will be there again in 2 weeks-may be on a drip all day tjpugj as they want to give me a blood transfusion as well as the usual fluids and magnesium.
My final infusion is next Tuesday, then I’m back again on 10th April for my “end of term report.” The delay is because I forgot all about final scans etc and on a high that the six months chemo was finally coming to an end, booked a trip to Gozo.
Hope Noodle comes to see you while you are on your drip.
He’s so lovely . What a beautiful face .
Yes a fantastic idea, they have such a calming affect .
They have a therapy dog at Guys who I met on their fun day although never saw him while having treatment. Our rescue dog Riz has been a great therapy dog for the whole family and also gets us out walking . Had him a year now and wouldn’t be without him 💜 He’s just sneaked into the bedroom and is lying by my bed .
Love and best wishes Kim and Riz 🐶x
Yes, it's official, dogs are good therapy! It is a wonderful photo ❤️️ 🐺🐶
How wonderful - what a fabulous dog and photo. Wish one would visit my chemo ward. Best wishes xxx
Gorgeous dog, what a great idea 🙂
I just posted this, below with a dog cartoon on my Facebook yesterday and just saw your post today! Thanks for your lovely photo.
Woof. Dogs are therapy cos they make us laugh, and of course we also have designated Therapy dogs! Last year, a big black labrador jumped on my hospital bed (with permission from me and his handler) and I burst into tears as I was happy to see and touch a dog! To hell with infection. LOL.
Oh! Wish we had a therapy dog!! How fabulous xx
Its amazing how uplifting dogs are. My father in law was in hospital for six weeks last summer so we often took our dog to see him whilst my husband pushed his wheelchair around the hospital grounds. I was regularly called from a door or window to take my dog over to say hello to staff and patients. He’s not a therapy dog but he’s waggy so just seeing him through the window seemed to brighten the mood on the wards. I think my dog missed the attention when my father in law went home and we didnt walk around the hospital grounds anymore.
Your visitor looks like a happy waggy one
Lovely dog, but I particularly like how relaxed and happy you look in the moment.
