My GP gave me a blood test which seemed pretty comprehensive, liver, kidneys, iron, CA125 and all that. I was in a pub with a nearly flat mobile yesterday when the surgery rang to say a prescription for Vitamin D had been sent to the pharmacy. I assume that was the only thing they could find wrong, which is nice.

Check why tbey are giving you vitamin D - I know that most of the UK has low levels in the winter but it could be something else.
They gave me vitamin D when I had calcium level problems, I had problems with my parathyroid glands.
Yours is probably just Winter and lack of sunshine but better to check.
