Thank you Anna. I've been more worried about loosing brows and lashes than my head hair!

I did have my brows professionally tattooed 3 years ago but they need annual top ups and I haven't ever done it (affordability and priorities changed!) I've always had sparse brows like my mum, plus overplucked in the 90's 🤤

I still have the shape from the tattoo so now I use wunderbrow and it's amazing!

Lasts all day and the tube will last 4-6 months so can justify the £20 cost.

I don't feel dressed without my brows on! 😁

Worth a go, it does take some practice but I feel makes a big difference and much better than pencil.

Hi Beth

As I will be facing more chemo after Christmas I was thinking of having my eyebrows tattooed as I remember last time trying to figure out where they used to be,! They are quite sparse anyway from the years when it was fashionable to have thin eyebrows. How long does the tattoo last ? Also do they take away your eyebrows before they do it ? Probably all silly questions but I would love to know ! Take care

Hi Molly. They say the tattoo lasts upto 3 years but it really depends on the person and your skin. My skin absorbs the colour really quickly hence why less than a year after I had mind done, I could have done with a top up. It is worth it though as it gives you the shape and definition, even if you have to touch them up a bit after a while. Just make sure you do your research and go to a reputable place. Can't beat personal. recommendations. And no, they leave your brows alone. The therapists will pencil on the new brow after discussing shape and size etc and once you're happy, they will tattoo them. Lots of different strokes and shades and colours to choose from. A good therapist will know what will suit your face and look natural.

Hi Beth

Thanks for that really useful information . As you said they leave your brows alone what happens when they fall out with chemo ? I presume they just go all over that area anyway. How vain must I be thinking more about my eyebrows than the op ! Six years ago when I was starting my first chemo and was on my way to shave my head and collect my wig , I stopped to get a spray tan ! Thanks again

Hi Beth,

I was away a few weeks ago and it was funny because I would not go out without my brows, and when we were on the beach I kept asking were my brows ok.

My sister's thought this was so funny.

The things we do to look well 😱

Hi AnnNora

Hope you had a good week after we met . As you know mine was an interesting one to put it mildly ! I was up at 0530 this morning to catch to 7oclock Shannon Ferry to Tarbert. A friend of hours died in New York two weeks ago and his Irish funeral was today . Just back exhausted.

Great find looks good and also cosy in this colder weather . Yes your eyebrows look great . I finished my chemo in January and mine are back but very uneven . Oh I remember the overplucking look well !

Love and best wishes Kim x

What a stunning photo, you look really glamorous awesome eyebrows and the hat is such a good idea, I hated turning over onto a cold pillowcase in bed at nights when I lost my hair, I too was more upset at losing my eyebrows and lashes than my head hair but knew it would happen.

Keep rocking the look and keep as well as you can be. ❤️Xx Jane

Hello superwomanbeth..I also am getting ready to be put on carboplatin and avastin this thurs if my blood work is good enough. I have taken cisplatin, taxol, carboplatin, taxatere, then they tried this past year carboplatin with gemzar. all those left a small tumor next to my pancreas so the dr wants to try this avastin with the carboplatin. The gemzar messed with my blood. Can't keep wbc,rbc or the platets count up. How do you feel about avastin?
