Brca results

Mum had a phone call this week with the results of her testing, negative. Good news for me not sure how it effects treatment options for her though

Hi. I’m in a similar situation, overwhelmingly relieved to be negative for the future of my daughter and grand daughter but think it will reduce future treatment options. Will just have to wait and see. Jo 🌼🌻🌺🌸🌹

Our lives are very complicated. I was relieved to have negate results for Braca1, braca2 and Lynch syndrome because of my children, but now worry about the limited research, options etc for the 80% of us with Ovarian cancer and the same results

My mum had the genetic testing and was relieved not to have the BRCA gene but the onc did seem to indicate she would have more treatments options if she was BRCA positive. Not quite sure what that means. She's had third line treatment recently and is quite stable at the moment. Appt at beginning of Dec. Watch this space... Jane x
