Hi Callmemum, I can't say I am one to really look forward to Xmas but I am looking forward to it because I have 4 beautiful grand children. They are at that age where every thing is exciting. Take care Cindyxx

Hi Callemmum Hope you and your special person are well, Halloween is just be coming popular here over the last few years, last year I had about 10 to 12 kids knock on my door I was not prepared for it, so this year made up lolly bags turned all the lights on and waited no one turned up at all, maybe becourse it was a school night or they remember last year that I had none...now what to do with all the lollies... do give my best wishes to your special person and take care Lorraine xx

We had a great Halloween took my children trick or treating. My special person had a good day she saw her Onc and it was treat rather than trick as she starts Niraparib today (took them long enough) but we’ve finally got there so all in all a good day hopefully her bloods stay ok for this month then we can just have bloods done once a month rather than weekly for the next 4 weeks. Hope you’re doing well? Xxx

Hi callmemum ,So please your special person is doing ok, Lets hope the Niraparib is the one, having bloods once a month is hard.

I'm doing ok next week will be my last Carbo/Caelyk this is the 8th a and all is going well.

I will be having a break over Christmas, need to have some work on my teeth the teeth has no support from the bone and are lose, my oncologist did not want me to have any major work while my platelets are lows

It will be good to have Christmas with out chemo then in the new year I will be on maintenance Caelyx.

Hi Lorraine, I don't know how it works there but over here in the UK if you put a pumpkin out side or a welcome sign on your door then you get trick or treaters knocking your door.

I went with my family it was lots of fun. My family had quite a few calls at theirs as well.

I too had a great halloween. I have now moved out of my house to downsize. We are having a granny annex built. So last night i answered the door whilst the children went round the village trick or treating. I wish i could post a photo. I must learn.

Off to RM today 11am.
