Hi everybody...I had a colonoscopy after 12 years. Mass (3cmm)is high dysplasia. PET scan shows 'hot' on both ovaries. Have oncologists. She says ovary to colon, or visa versa. Had one of the marker tests, (?) , passed. She gave marker 125 over a week ago. Haven't heard. I'm a otherwise healthy 80 yr old. Have colon surgeon and ovary surgeon. Neither are very informative. This has ben going on for a while. My colonoscopy was 6 weeks ago. that surgeon has given over to oncologists. My anxiety is growing as fast as the cancer. I live in small country town and nearest is 80 mi away. Only symptom is pressure before boel movement. Still have appetite.

First, you look maybe 60, not 80! Find an oncological gynecologist. This is a surgeon who specializes in female reproductive cancers. This is very important. Are you in US? Get a second opinion ASAP, not from a regular gyno. Bowel surgeons that specialize in bowel cancer cannot properly diagnose OVCA. Wishing you the best possible healthcare outcome.
