ca 125 levels.

So I didn't get my 4th chemo last week as platelets way too low. So I had blood test ready for chemo today on Thursday as doctors closed Friday . Hubby went off to work this morning expecting me to go in later today for my 4th chemo. Got phone call at 11.30 to say I shouldve got a call yesterday to go for blood test as my white cells are low now!! I asked about my ca125 as I haven't felt brilliant ..they have gone up 2 .... I know not a lot but I'm anxious .

So off for blood test when he gets home typical he's working mI les away!!

Does ca125 go up whilst having chemo ?

My CA125 after my final chemo was 34 having been 29 at the lowest during my treatment. My oncologist is not going to repeat the test nor scan me now I've finished so I guess he's not worried about slight rises.

Don't forget CA125 could fluctuate a little from inflammation not just cancer activity. Good luck with round 4. Rooting for you.

My CNS told me CA125 can go up if your constipated! Best wishes
