Hi ladies

hope you doing well

.

after my second recurrence i made a surgery for a small nodule 1.8 cm

which was not malicious .

but unfortunatly after six months from this surgery i made recently a ct-scan and find a new tumor in the same place and location , size of 4 cm.

im worried for this result and i do not know what to do.

whether a benin or malicious .

next week i will have a meeting with my oncologist in order to advise me what to do,

* biopsy first,

waiting pathology result.

* surgery

*or radiotherapy

*or chemeterapy again.

knowing my last chemo was 1/7/2015

that is around two years interval.

did any of you experienced such matter ?

i have been diagonised a clear cell adenocarcinoma ovarian cancer 20/6/2011 .

I do not have experience with your type of cancer, but I would definitely get a second opinion to help you make your treatment decisions. Hugs to you. Tesla

Hello Tarouza, I don't have any experience of this but you must be guided by your oncologist. My thinking is that if you have a biopsy first and it is found to be benign, it presumably will still slowly grow and eventually have to be removed anyway. If the biopsy shows it to be malignant your oncologist may decide to try and shrink it with chemo or radiotherapy rather than surgery. As Tesla has suggested, if you are still unsure the best way forward after your meeting, you could always ask for a second opinion. All the best! Helen
