I'm new to this I am a 44 year old female....I have been having pelvic pain for a couple of weeks. Ultrasound and transvaginal scan are clear but pain still remains? Any ideas?

Hello Lovely and welcome,

Have your docs done a CT scan or CA125 blood test? If not ask for both pelvic pain could be anything. Do you have any other symptoms? Xxx

Hi,

No, I have no other symptoms but am getting worried. The consultant said because my two previous scans were clear it was probably IBS!

Unfortunately GP's tend to diagnose IBS a lot, some cases are genuine IBS but after everything my special person has gone through and ladies on this site I'd call them the experts!

No idea and we give advice and support on here but not medical advise or diagnosis. Perhaps ask for the blood protein test for Ovarian Cancer if you feel its necessary also an abdominal ct scan. Once those have been checked you should have a clearer picture as to what is going on if anything.

I can only think possible infection but that may have shown up during tests I guess. Sorry not much help. Check with your GP hope it passes very soon. x
