Yes indeed a sad year for Music may I add to the list the wonderful Ruud Merx a member of Andre Rieus orchestra who collapsed and passed from a Heart attack last week in Uk.

My daughter has just read from Richard Osman how he saw a contestant on a quiz show who wanted to win to pay for IVF treatment. The next day he arranged for her to have £1500. He donated anonymously. I saw Wham in 1984 but he went on to be so much more than that. A sad loss.

There is one heck of a party going on somewhere , with a tremendous band headlining it, and with all the talented people this world has lost in the last 12 months in attendance. I hope all our teal angels are there enjoying it with them ❤

I saw him about 7 times,He was amazing,the best time was at Earls Court and I was in the front row!He saw me taking a photo of him when he was singing and posed for it,it came out very grainy,but it is one of my lovely memories.

I've been so sad over the last 2 days,particularly as it now seems he died alone,yet he was so loved by so many.

Rest in peace George,you will always be loved and remembered,

Lovely memories Carole!

I saw him twice and agree he was amazing! I was listening to some of the songs last night and they brought back lovely memories of growing up! May he rest in peace!!
