Try and turn it into a positive!!! Why not use it as a way to change all you wanted to in your ' old life' !!! 🎉

I certainly know what you mean though and I'm not belittling what we are all grieving for, but I'm certainly going to look on this as a life changing situation and hope to tease out some good things from it .. I'm obviously going to have a new hairstyle 💁 for one ☝️.. my body has most definitely changed 😳.. what with my new hand bag 💼 attached to my tummy!! 😳.. my job as a care manager working in mental health will no longer be my whole world as it once was. No, I'm changing things because I have to and want to.. only wish I would have addressed many issues before this nasy illness made me ..

Anyway lovely ladies, love to you all 🌺❤️️

Its hard when your life as you knew it gets turned upside down, its a new path we are treading, a new journey. We cannot change it, we can live with it and let it rule us and be miserable or we can live with it, not let it WIN and rule our lives, be thankful for each day we have. Whatever path we are all on we all still see the sun in the sky, the birds on the trees and we still breathe the same air. Life can be good again...............I learnt this after the sudden death of my 14 year old son, that life experience taught me everything I know and feel today. xx

What a lovely response and very positive.

I cannot think of anything worse that we could ever have to face in our lives than losing a child. Sending a virtual hug xo

Sometimes yes but there's now

the new me,

the stronger me,

the alive me,

the grateful me,

the here me,

the today me.

We can't go back, we have to go forward with whatever life throws at us and catch it, deal with it and embrace it. We are strong ladies ❤️Xx

At times, but most of the time I forget my cancer. My daily life is pretty much what it was before. But there's always that little niggling worm in your head that wasn't there before.

Most certainly!!! My husband tells me how gorgeous I am and is always trying to help with my very battered self esteem. So yes I think we all have our moments. Nancy

No. The old me is still here, a bit battered but who I am hasn't changed and I WON'T let cancer do that.
