Hi. the definition is; If you are treated with a platinum based chemo drug and the disease is back within 6 months of completion of treatment...a patient is considered platinum resistant. Similarly if a patient gets more than 6 months after treatment they are considered platinum sensitive.
Hope that answers.
But regardless, if you are the former there are lots of other drugs that can be used.
