Docetaxel (Taxotere) + Carbo

Hi,

Is anyone else on this mix ? I am highly allergic to Taxol hence to the change to Docetaxel. I was just wondering about hair loss etc etc. I have my 2nd round of chemo tomorrow at Guys but the first time with this combo - anxious is an understatement !!!!!

Hiya,

Yes if you can have a good chemo day well yesterday was it ! I had the full two doses of chemo and actually feel like something is being done now !

I too highly allergic to taxol, anaphylactic shock, but I was then only given higher dose of carboplatin , not offered that drug! My hair on head stayed but legs and pubes disappeared!
