And me. How can you tell the last time a post was updated without actually going into each one? Is it me?

My screen shows the time elapsed after the last update in grey under the entry for each comment. You can list all recent entries using the drop-down box by your Screen Name in the green bar, then click on Newsfeed.

One feature I thought was really helpful on the original site which has been lost is the 'find members near me'. I'm really sad that has gone as it was a great way of using the site to network and make friends locally.

I also wish the 'recommend' button was not anonymous. I feel guilty if I recommend and tend to add a comment explaining I've used this function. I'd love to know what use it is put to from the perspective of Health Unlocked.

I'm sure Health Unlocked are happy to receive feedback and comments for improvement. xxx

Overall I don't find it too bad. It always takes a bit of time to get used to new layouts, etc. but I have a great sympathy with Jenny. If it has been changed to make improvements it would be good to know what they are. Annie xx

All I wanted to do was send a private msg to someone who is not confident enough yet to come onto the forum! Took me ages to find how to do it. Lol.

And the report button doesn't seem to work to report the post above!

Did you manage to report that response from FL? He wanted to know why and I tried to click in to respond to him but it won't let me! Ann

in reply to thesilent1

No - I don't think anyone did - and I decided to ignore him wanting to know why. It's a phishing or similar email.

Have you noticed that the search facility does nothing unless you press the enter key and there's nothing to say that's what you need to do.

I don't understand why they can't improve the site in the way the users want it as opposed to fiddling with things which just seem cosmetic.

It might be good if they explained WHY they think this is an improvement?!

Have a good day x

I agree totally. Thought I had figured it out... but it seems to take me 3 different entry ways to read all the messages & postings that I can access, as I get some directly to me in my e-mail account, some through Ovacare (here in Ireland) and then others through this site. Getting too old for this changing technology. Am I reverting to become a Luddite!!!!!!

But don't intend to let it beat me though, so stick with it.

Another problem that quite a few of us have commented on: There are still posts from members who have passed away, I think, without it making it clear that they are no longer with us. There seem to be fewer new postings, too. Is it because there are less people using the HU Ovacome site, or is it because people have tried and given up? It a shame, I agree, the 'people near me' was a good facility, along with the map showing where people are sited. It seems to get less personal with each revision on here.
