This is my interview on the Simon Hoban Drivetime show aired last Monday ..

I thought I'd put this link on a separate thread as it's taken off catch-up in 4 days.

I'm 1 hour, 19 minutes in. Just go straight there. You don't have to listen to the whole show if you don't want to.

If you like it, please share it to raise awareness. You may save a life....

Love to all from me. Xx

Yes I did. You came over really well and certainly highlighted the problems of getting a diagnosis and the real need for awareness of symptoms for doctors and the women themselves.

I listened to the whole show and really enjoyed it all. Particularly your bit Sue. I thought it was a really honest and helpful piece that got the message across. Brilliant!

Yes Millie.. and thanks. It's the reason I did it. I feel that since I'd had so many hospital in stays that, by rights, my disease should have been glaringly obvious, but had I known myself, I think I would have been more insistent in my approach... Love T xx

Thanks Annie. Simon Hoban is really great. He's a radio journalist with a personal interest in Ovarian. It's no secret that he lost his own Mum from the disease not very long ago. She was found at a late stage. He told me all of this after the show, but it's in the media so I'm not betraying a confidence. As I was listening to his words to me off air, I was completely blown away with such a strong realisation of how this disease affects all of us no matter whether we have it or not. We have a friend in him... there's no doubt about that Annie. Love to you... x x

Dear Tina,

This would explain why he was so good with his questions....when I first heard it I was astounded that he was so clued up on the subject.

You were brilliant too Sue well done :-) love x G x

Thanks Gwyn .. he's up there in journalism Gwyn and very respected. I just thought that it was ironic that all the time he was interviewing us, I had no idea that he had a very personal experience of this cruel disease. Love to you Gwyn x x

Hi Tina well done ,you spoke well, I wish I had heard your story before I started-on the treadmill, my OC was missed by a gynae consultant, but was eventally diagnosed 10 months later after being given a ct scan for hospital admission with an acute abdomen.I read all your blogs, thanks and I wish you well. Hi Tina,

Thanks for posting this - a very good interview indeed. I recently went on our local community radio station to raise awareness too. Like you, I just want to do all I can to raise awareness of symptoms because again, like you, I was oblivious to them before I was diagnosed.

Very best wishes, Libby xx

That is really informative, Sue. You spoke ever so clearly and got a lot of info in. It's great that so many women are coming forward to share their experiences now. Well done

Love Wendy xx
