There are quite a few members on this forum with PPC ....The treatment is the same as ovarian Cancer. ......Best wishes love x G x

I had PPC , chemo , surgery and more chemo . Lots of ascities at the beginning . Finished chemo in Jan 2013 . Pm me if you want to know the details. Lots of people on here with PPC .... Dyxxx

Hi Dyana, just been diagnosed with oc with secondaries waiting for news re treatment if any had 7 litres of fluid drained from my stomach. Was quite upbeat about it all but now quite depressed. Is there any hope for me?

Well I had high grade stage 3c PPC , 13 litres of ascities , spread to bowels , appendix , on liver , in all lymph nodes , etc and after treatment I'm clear at the moment so YES , lots of hope. Plenty of women on here have had similar stories to me . Why don't you give Ruth the specialist nurse at Ovacome a call , she would I'm sure help you , hang on in there , xxx

By the way .. Welcome. I've forgotten my manners! It's now thought that many women who are diagnosed with PPC and Ovarian actually have Fallopian Tube Cancer. There is more evidence for this theory for high grade. The cancer causing cells spill out into the abdomen. The 3 conditions are in many ways, interchangeable. X x

Hi Jessica x there are many of us here with pic . I was diagnosed in 2012 . Had one year clear and now just finished chemo for first recurrence x hope you find this site helpful as it is a great support
