I was diagnosed over 9 years ago and only took meds for the first year. If you're determined enough , it's possible to maintain good bone health through a healthy diet, supplementing as required, and lots of exercise - as high impact as is safe, together with progressive resistance training. At the moment, diagnosis of osteoporosis via a DEXA scan is based on bone density, which isn't necessarily the same as bone strength, so if you're able to access and afford a REMS scan, that would give you invaluable extra information about your bone strength. As far as I'm aware, the Marodyne LiV plate is the only one recognised as a medical device and believed to be safe for osteoporosis. Other brands may be effective, but carry a risk of fracture and also retinal tears.

Marodyne is the make, and it's a low intensity vibration plate.

Hi, natural way is how I’m dealing with osteoporosis. I’ve come to realize there are so many nutrients we need to get in the fight. I take Grow Bone supplement and collagen with the x peptide. Medication side effects are terrible! Exercise especially squats. I’m going to ask my Dr for another DEXA but as we all know insurance doesn’t pay unless on a western med.. kind of makes me sick! K2 magnesium are a necessity besides Ca and D hope this helps

Take care and Happy Easter 🐣
